Driving Up Quality and Quality Checkers

We continue to be committed to working in partnership with User-Led Self-Advocate Organisations to undertake ‘Quality Checkers’ assessments of our work.

Skills for People a user led self-advocacy has again brought ‘Quality Checkers’ into our Northumbrian services. The ‘Quality Checkers’ undertook assessments of our work through meeting the people we support, families and staff. As usual we have the Driving Up Quality Self-Assessment tool is used as a framework for these checks.

After work with people, their families, staff and other stakeholders we were pleased to get a very detailed report from the Quality Checkers at Skills for People in December 2025.
